SEMANA NAUTICA SPORTS FESTIVAL

The Semana Nautica Sports Festival is a 10-day event featuring a variety of competitions held in Santa Barbara, California. The festival’s origins date all the way back to 1933 but the festival has evolved over time to what it is today. These days the festival features professional beach volleyball tournaments, multiple ocean-swimming races, the traditional 4th of July 15K running race, and a whole lot more.

I’ve spent ten years covering the festival for Presidio Sports and the Semana Nautica Association. These are some of my favorite images over the years that I’ve captured.
